Fontys and secondary schools working together

The technique courses from Fontys will partner with twenty secondary schools in the region. That should improve the transition to a technical training. A cooperation agreement was established with each of the schools. Among other St. Jors College Eindhoven is participating.

Fontys has setup a program which ensures that teachers and pupils from secondary schools have a clear picture of the different engineering courses available.

There will also be a sort of exchange project. Pupils from the secondary school with mathematics, physics and chemistry in their program, can follow a part of the Fontys curriculum. Teachers will also be lookin into each other classroom to see how the subject matter is dealt with and how it is taught.

Hopefully the transition from secondary education to higher education will an easier step to take.
