FC Eindhoven loses 2-4 away to Emmen

FC Eindhoven lost tonight in Emmen 4-2. After only ten minutes, the team from Drente scored with a goal from Frank Olijve.

Eindhoven didn’t manage to equalise until just before half-time, thanks to a goal by Anthony Van den Hurk. In the second half, the blue and white Eindhoverners couldn’t come back. First Erixon Danso and Raymond Gyasi both scored. Then Danso put another one in. It was injury time before Marko Mitrovic capitalised on a penalty for FC Eindhoven. He finalised the score at 2-4.

The win means Emmen is through to the play-offs. Eindhoven drops a place in the rankings, but their place in the play-offs was already definite.
