German Chancellor Angela Merkel is coming to the Eindhoven region on 21ste of April. Together with Prime Minister Rutte they will be visiting the Chip Equipment Manufacturer ASML.
Cyber Security is the main concern at the company in Veldhoven. ASML has become a target last year of a cyber attack, with hackers breaking into the IT systems of the company. They tried to steal high-quality knowledge and sensitive information.
As the German Government and the Government Information Services officially will announce the arrival of Merkel later this week, they currently are not confirming or denying the visit.
