Schools in Eindhoven are going to battle electronic waste

21 classes from 10 different schools in Eindhoven have joined the E-waste race competition. Between 14 March and 8 April the classes will compete with each other in collecting as much small, electronic waste as possible in the city. By participating in this recycling campaign, the schools give an important contribution to the environment.

Everything with a battery or plug, from cables and electric toothbrushes to telephones and electronics toys, can be collected. The class that collects the most will win a school trip to De Ontdekfabriek (The Discovery Factory) at Strijp-S.

The competition is made possible by the Municipality of Eindhoven and Cure Afvalbeheer. For more information see E-waste race in Eindhoven and the special school information site for cities from WeCycle.
