Hundreds of people queued up in front of the V & D early this morning for the reopening of the company. The department store is bankrupt, but everything is still for sale. Up to 70 percent discount is available in the store, which attracts many people to the Demer.
The shop would actually open at 9:30, but the opening was moved to 10:00. Meanwhile, people are rummaging the shelves of the V & D.
The store will remain open for three weeks. April 15 is the last day that the V & D is open in Eindhoven.
