Eindhoven students won ‘millions ‘ with Hackathon

A team of students from the TU / e have won a so-called Hackathon in Vietnam. They were handed a check for 20 million Vietnamese dongs, when converted to euros it is 800 euros.

A hackathon is a competition wherein hardware and software developers are trying to solve a problem. In this case the students have found a solution to bridge the gap between secondary school education and students.

Whether the product is going to be developed further in Vietnam, is not yet clear. But Eindhoven won the first price.
