Whatson Planner app wins Global Mobile Challenge

The Dutch startup Whatson Planner has won the Global Mobile Challenge during the World Mobile Conference in Barcelona. The app was chosen from 20 finalists of 6 continents.

The startup had already won the EU Mobile Challenge at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. For the local preliminary selections more than 2000 startups took part in the challenge.

The panel of judges consisted of managers of large mobile operators, online platforms (such as Airbnb) and prominent venture capital investors. According to the judges, the Whatson Planner that uses the "cloud" approach for planning issues, has a good chance at becoming a large international planning platform.

Besides the special recognition, Whatson Planner will be given access to a network of experts and take part in an international accelerator program.

Making appointments using the Whatson Planner app makes planning so much easier and fun, checking agendas of all invitees for the best options, without the need for individuals to share their respective agenda. The app uses picture invitations to invite everybody to an appointment. The Whatson Planner can be downloaded for free in the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
