New city walking guide for Eindhoven

Publisher Gegarandeerd Onregelmatig (Guaranteed Irregular) will present the newly published walking guide ‘Wandelen buiten de binnenstad van Eindhoven’ (Walking outside in the Eindhoven innercity) on Thursday 18 February. Mayor Rob Van Gijzel will receive the first copy at Landschap Reisboekwinkel (travel guide bookshop)

Eindhoven is the fifth largest city in the Netherlands. A modern city because of Brainport and Eindhoven Airport, a city full of former glory because of Philips and a culturally rich city as well. At the same time it is full of greenery and nature with parks and the river the Dommel always present. Author Kees Volkers is of the opinion that the city is best explored on foot.

Eigh walks are mapped out, all starting at the Eindhoven station. It includes information on the surrounding area, a description of the route as well as a map.
