Car crashes into façade Blaarthemseweg, bike found under car

A car crashed into the façade of a house on Blaarthemseweg this morning. A bike was found under the car, so emergency services operated extremely cautiously.

The car was carefully raised using air cushions, but no-one was found. The bike was very likely dragged along in the crash, and ended up under the car.

There is serious damage to the façade of the house. Nobody was home at the time of the accident and the motorist escaped without injury.

The municipal engineering department is currently on the way to the house to assess the amount of damage done.
