Virtual visit of TU/e campus

On Tuesday 8 December, TU Eindhoven launched its virtual visit; a virtual reality environment in which prospective students can experience the Eindhoven student’s life from a distance.

With the virtual visit the university mainly focusses on international students, who are not always able to visit the open days. TU/e is the first Dutch university that uses virtual reality in order to inform students.

The virtual visit offers its visitors a real-life experience of the TU/e campus, its departments and student’s life. This way, students can get a good impression what studying at TU/e is like, even if they are many kilometers away.

After being warmly welcomed by Adelya, one of the international PhD students, you’ll continue as a virtual visitor in a 3D environment that looks like Google Streetview. It’s more than that: it offers audio, interviews, information points, videos and galleries. As a future student, you’ll get more and more feeling with TU/e as you go along.
