Light Laboratory on hold after objections against Philips/ Heijmans

The plans to start a state of the art light laboratory may take longer than expected. The company Ziut BV has objected to the project, and has moved to court to complain about the tendering process. This will cause a delay of at least months for the municipality, according to the Eindhoven’s Dagblad (Eindhoven daily).

The company Ziut BV has complained about the processes followed for the tender of the project. The company will only react to the matter after the trial in court.

Playing with different variants of lighting in Eindhoven can improve the quality of life around here. Five locations in the city have been chosen as ‘laboratories" for improvements in the use of light.

Some of the areas include the road between the John F. Kennedylaan and Eisenhowerlaan, the Ring and the neighbourhoods Gijzenrooi, Schrijversbuurt and Woenselse Heide (West).
