Investigation child abuse at refugee centre in Eindhoven

There are reports from Orangerie, the refugee centre in Eindhoven, of possible child abuse. The police is investigating the case.

The details of the case haven’t been made public as yet. Besides this complaint of child abuse, there have been eighteen other notifications to the police concerning the refugee center. This involves, amongst other things, quarrels, assault, domestic violence and threat. According to reports, those incidents were quickly defused with the help of the social workers, security guards and police.

In November last year the refugee center at the Orangerie was opened. The Orangerie offers a place to about 700 refugees.
