As of Tuesday morning, all sorts of legal fireworks can be purchased in Eindhoven. It seems there is quite a big selection to choose from.
In order to be able to purchase fireworks, one should be at least 12, 16 or 18-years-old. The age varies, according to the sort of fireworks purchased. It seems that ornamental fireworks are becoming more and more popular. The expectation is that there will be a reduction in the purchase of blast fireworks.
Although purchasing of fireworks is allowed as of today, igniting fireworks is permitted only on 31 December, from 18:00 hrs. till 02:00 hrs at night. The rules in Eindhoven remain the same as they were last year.
