Dissatisfaction about traffic jams A2 and A58

The regional municipalities of Heeze-Leende and Cranendonck are meeting today with Minister Schultz, of Traffic, to press for a broader A2 between Eindhoven and Weert.

They will hand over a petition, with around a thousand signatures. The A2 municipalities have had enough of the traffic jams between Eindhoven and the border with Limburg. They are pressing for fast measures, such as a rush-hour lane, or extra lanes.
There is also dissatisfaction about the traffic jams between Eindhoven and Breda. The interest group Transport en Logistiek Nederland has the A58 between the two Brabant cities at the top of the traffic congestion listings, the NOS reports. According to the group, the congestion costs industry 8.4 million euros annually.
