Railway routes will be affected by an emergency preparedness exercise taking place in Eindhoven this weekend.
No trains will travel through the Best tunnel for part of Saturday. Both ends of the tunnel will be closed and power to the overhead line cut.
Trains between Eindhoven and Den Bosch, and between Eindhoven and Tilburg will be stopped between 09:00 and 14:00. NS will provide buses for commuters.
Nearly 250 people will take part in the exercise, including 40 actors and 125 first responders such as firefighters, police officers, and paramedics.
Held once every three years, the drill aims to train responders for disasters and emergencies. It is not yet clear what type of exercise will take place this year.
