TU/e solar car Stella Lux second to cross finish line

A thrilling race in the World Solar Challenge has finally resulted in a second place for the TU/e team. Stella Lux crossed the finish line behind the Japanese team in Adelaide, but the Eindhoven team still has a chance to win.

The real race may be over, but that’s not the only deciding factor in the class Stella Lux is competing in. The Cruiser Class involves more than the speed of the cars. The practical use will also count towards the final result.

Tomorrow, judges will also have a close look at user convenience, comfort, trunk space and number of passengers.

On Sunday morning, Dutch time, the winning team will be announced.
