The Doornakker Animal Shelter has received generous donations, which enabled the management to present their coworkers with new clothing. Apparently, the 480 volunteers at the animal ambulance and at the animal Shelter De Doornakker were at extreme need for new working clothes.
Safety, protection in rough weather conditions and being clearly visible are fundamental for those volunteers. This information reached the attention of the Rabobank Eindhoven-Veldhoven Cooperative trust and they reacted positively.
They donated 7,500 Euros to the animal shelter. Furthermore, many private donations were also received. All this generosity enabled the volunteers to receive the much needed new shirts, slacks, safety coats, safety vests and windbreakers.
