Car in flames on the Japiksestraat

The fire fighters were rapidly at the scene on the Japiksestraat in Woensel, Eindhoven, in order to put the fire out. According to the fire fighters’ tweet, the car was a Volkswagen Polo.

It is yet unclear what exactly happened. A car went up in flames, due to an unknown reason, yesterday evening at 20:35 hrs. The fire fighters arrived rapidly at the scene. Unfortunately, they could not prevent the car from utterly burning beyond saving. A salvage company had to tow away the remains of the Volkswagen.

This is the second burnt car incident in a short while. A car was severely burnt on Saturday night on the Baltesakker street in the Vlokhoven area. The damage was great. The reason for the fire is yet unknown.
