Competition in Eindhoven: make a film within 48 hours

The 48 Hour Film Project is coming to Eindhoven. During this film competition teams are challenged to make a movie within a weekend. It’s a collaboration with the Eindhoven cinema Broet.

The participating teams are committed to a predefined object, a sentence and a character. Otherwise, there are no further obligations.

The film makers don’t have to be from Eindhoven and they do not necessarily have to film in the city. But it is encouraged. There is an advantage for teams from the region, they are given priority at registration. Furthermore there is a special price for the team that pictures Eindhoven the best. The film must be delivered in the city personally after exactly 48 hours.

There is room for 24 movie teams. The project concludes with a film festival in the Natlab. There the films are shown and later there is the award ceremony. The winning film will be entered in to the international 48 Hours Film Festival in Atlanta.

This international film project previously took place in other Dutch cities such as Rotterdam and Breda.
