Against a 40-year-old mother from Eindhoven a community service of 180 hours and a suspended prison sentence of six months was demanded. She would have been negligent in the mistreatment of her own twins.
She did not interfere when her babies were severely wounded, reports Omroep Brabant. Yesterday she stood before the judge.
The (ex-)husband of the wife has already been convicted of the assault of the two babies. He received a sentence of one year. The mother intentionally left the children in a helpless state for at least one moment.
The father would have caused 20 rib fractures, a spoke bone and upper arm fracture and a broken thighbone to one of the children. The other child had thirteen rib fractures and a broken spoke bone, ulna, shinbone and thighbone. This all was recorded in February 2014.
