Men from Eindhoven and Geldrop arrested for cargo theft

Resident of Eindhoven arrested for threatening with a knife

Police have arrested a man from Eindhoven and a man from Geldrop, suspected of cargo theft. They allegedly tried to steal boxes of computer equipment.

This happened in the Limburg Blerick. A hiker saw about forty boxes of computer equipment stacked along the railway track. He reported this to the police, who then decided to keep an eye on the boxes.

During the evening a number of men arrived to load the boxes into a truck. Two men were arrested. Two other suspects managed to flee. A police helicopter searched for the fugitives but without any luck.
