Venice in Muziekgebouw

The American country and rock band Venice will stage in the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven on Wednesday.

The group is known for hits like ‘Think Again’ and ‘Welcome to the rest of your life’, both from 2002. Reason for the visit is the promotion of the new album Lucky 7.

They were born and raised in Venice Beach, California and are widely praised for their ‘West Coast harmonies’. No wonder that David Crosby calls them ‘the best vocal group in the country’. The Lennons regard the Netherlands as their ‘home away from home’ where they received a gold album and an Edison Award for Best International Artist.

Of the seven members, Kipp, Mark, Michael and Pat Lennon are family (brothers and cousins).

The theatre tour of Venice starts today and lasts a week.
