Third location for memorial trees in Eindhoven

A third location has been found in Eindhoven for memorial trees. The Hondsheuvels, between Orpheuslaan and the ring road, along the banks of the Dommel.

There are a total of 115 young trees to be planted, which can be adopted. There will be plaques mounted on the trees that can commemorate events such as a death or a birth or another special event.

Currently, there are commemorative trees in the Loovelden in Tongelre, and in Genneper Parken. On the website of the foundation for commemorative trees, ‘Stichting Gedenkbomen’ people can adopt a memorial tree for 100 euros.
