PSV will be honoured on Sunday April 19, if they become the winner of the national league. This is announced by police, municipality and club management.
This could already be decided for sure if PSV wins and Ajax loses this coming weekend.
The following weekend, Phillip Cocu’s team can become the champion on their own if they beat PEC Zwolle and have a home victory over Heerenveen. In both cases, the celebration will be on 19 April.
That Sunday, at a quarter past five in the afternoon, the tour of the squad will travel through Eindhoven, on the flatcar. The tour starts at the Philips Stadium, and ends at half past seven at the Stadhuisplein. The official ceremony is to be held there.
There will be no large-screen TVs placed in the city. The football games can be watched on small screens in pubs. On the day of the ceremonies the cafés will close at two o’clock at night.
