Girlsday at the Evoluon

On 18 April technology will be put in the spotlight at the Evoluon in Eindhoven. Girlsday is a wonderful opportunity for girls, aged between 10 and 15, to experience how much fun and how much of a challenge engineering, science and ICT are. Together with Philips and ASML they will find out that a technical course or profession really isn’t just for boys!

During this event the girls are immersed in workshops, they conduct exciting experiments and come face to face with the latest developments related to smartphones, social media and robots. They pimp materials, conduct tests with make-up and attend a science show. They also go dancing, but the link with engineering will have to remain a surprise for now!

Of course, fathers are welcome, too, but first and foremost the mothers are called on to visit Girlsday with their daughters.

Interested? If so, register via this link for the morning (9.30am – 1.00pm) or afternoon (2.00pm – 5.30pm) programme. Don’t wait too long though, because only a limited number of tickets are available.
