Dutch people from Nepal disaster area arriving today

This afternoon a military plane with Dutch nationals who were in the catastrophe area in Nepal, will arrive at ‘Vliegbasis Eindhoven’.

Nepal was struck by a massive earthquake last weekend. It concerns a group of forty, mainly vulnerable people. For example, the elderly, or parents with small children. This reports the Ministry of Defence.

It won’t be the first Dutch people returning from the disaster area. Already last night people returned, who had booked a regular flight. Tomorrow there will be landing a flight too at Rotterdam The Hague airport.

In total there were about 500 Dutch in Nepal at the time of the earthquake. They not yet managed to get in touch with everyone.
