Demolition Philips Lighting building nearly finished

Much work is being done at the former Philips Lighting building at the Mathildelaan. Forty men are busy demolishing most of the property.

The Eindhoven project developers Foolen and Reijs are making the property suitable for rental and owner-occupied apartments, an indoor pool and shops. There is still a lot of work to be done before the project is finished, but the demolition work is nearing an end.

Foolen and Reijs acquired the property in 2014. The 1,250 employees of Philips Lighting have moved to new premises on the High Tech Campus.
