At CKE (Cultural Centre) in Eindhoven a new exhibit is due. The exhibition ‘Erfstukken’ (heirlooms) shows the stories behind fifty heirlooms of the elderly from Eindhoven by means of picture and word.
Thirty writers and forty photographers have been visiting elderly from Eindhoven recently. Each time an object was selected that is important to that person.
One participant for instance selected the photo of his dog who had saved his life. Then pictures are made from heirloom and the writer writes the story behind the heirloom. This combination is exhibited at the CKE at the Pastor Peterstraat.
The exhibition will run from 25 February to 21 March. On weekdays from 9:00 to 21:00 hours and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 hours.
