An armed robbery took place in a house on ‘t Heike’ (street in Tongelre area), Eindhoven, early this morning. Luckily, no one was injured.
The police were alerted approximately at 06:15 hrs this morning. According to the police spokesperson, three culprits were involved. They threatened the house residents, a man and a woman, with an object that resembled a fire arm. Later on the culprits fled with a loot. The exact contents of the loot is still unknown.
According to the police spokesperson, the house residents did not incur physical injuries. However, they were extremely frightened.
The criminal investigation department is currently conducting a trace investigation, this will take several hours. Furthermore, they are also searching and inspecting the neighbourhood. The police call for eye witnesses to come forward. (Tel: 0900-8844.)
