Eindhoven will occur in the European travel guide ‘In Your Pocket’. From May this year the city can be found in the printed version of the guide throughout Europe. The guide will appear in 50,000 pieces annually.
On the website and in the app of the informative travel guide Eindhoven already can be seen. According to the policy makers of the handbook Eindhoven entered as a result of the former factory buildings, culture and hospitality in the city.
Eindhoven-based catering businesses, shops, hotels, museums and other places of interest are reviewed by Theo Leerintvelt, editor of In Your Pocket.
The hotspots are critically reviewed before inclusion in the guide and a map is created. This is necessary according Leerintvelt, because the locations are hard to find for an outsider. The map will be placed in every Eindhoven hotel room and is available for expatriates in the city.
Airline Wizz Air will use the guide to put Eindhoven more on the European map.
The guide is published by Arrogant Media. This publishing house took over the cultural guide ‘Uitkrant’ earlier. This paper is named ‘Licht op Eindhoven’ nowadays.
