The Eindhoven Wereldwinkel and Vredesburo are organizing a dance marathon to raise money for the fight against Ebola next week. Participants can have themselves sponsored to stand on the dance floor 24 hours long.
The Ebola virus creates much damage especially in West Africa. The disease does not cost only lives, but also many personal belongings need to be destroyed to prevent further infection. People in the affected areas become even poorer.
The money that will be raised through the dance marathon in Eindhoven will be donated to the victims of the Ebola-disaster.
On Friday 23 January at 22:00 hrs people will start rocking on the floor in the Wereldwinkel at Hoogstraat 275. Only the next day, on Saturday night, the participants will leave the dance floor.
