New tower at TU/e campus completed

The coming months, 850 employees will move into the new 12-story building of 26,000 square metres. Next academic year, the new building, called ‘Flux’, will provide accommodation for 1350 students.

Flux was designed by the famous Dutch architect Hertzberger. Besides the lecture rooms and study rooms, the building also houses ten coffee corners, various reading rooms and a ‘Spar University’ which focuses on the needs of the campus community for the next 48 hours.

Flux is the second project in a series of four renewal projects that the TU/e is working on. A couple of years ago, the first project was delivered: Metaforum, the central meeting place. The TU/e is investing 250 million Euros in the entire project.
