Terrorism suspects detained in Eindhoven

The police detained three terrorism suspects in Eindhoven and Arnhem this morning. This information was made public by the Public Prosecutor’s Department.

It seems that the suspects were involved in the preparation of terrorist attacks. Furthermore, they wanted to join Jabhat al-Nusra, a terrorist organization with connections to Al Qaida.

Apparently, one of the suspects, a 26-year-old Jihadi which returned from Syria, is already connected to the terrorist organization. The other two suspects are 26 and 30 years old. One of them is suspected of granting financial support to Jihadi warriors.

The Public Prosecutor’s Department has been investigating Jihadis and collecting evidence against them since the summer.
