Nellie van der Pas, from Eindhoven, is still searching for grandchildren. She has not succeeded in finding any yet. ‘They are really difficult to find’, she says.
The 57-year-old woman posted a request on Facebook at the end of October. Her son does not want to have any children, because he is suffering from a genetic metabolic disease. He would not want his children to inherent it.
Since Nellie only has one child, she will not be able to have any biological grandchildren. Hence, her request. She received many reactions, but no grandchildren so far.
‘I just need to be patient, so I will wait and see. I am still searching for grandchildren’, she says.
