Philips and Radboud start joint explorations

The collaboration between Philips and Radboud University Medical Centre involves wearable diagnostic prototypes for chronic illnesses such as COPD. Philips is going to apply mobile, digital and cloud technologies to improve patient care.

The wearable diagnostic prototype collects data, including respiratory indications and heart rate. The data is sent via the cloud to the Philips Health Suite Digital Platform, where it is shared with care providers.

Patients do not need to go to the hospital that often anymore thanks to this new cloud-based platform. Radboud umc is Philips’ first partner.
