Fourth suspect arrested for burglaries in Mierlo

On Tuesday afternoon, the police arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the burglaries that took place in schools in Mierlo on Monday evening. He is said to be a 15-year-old boy from Helmond.

During the break-in at a primary school on the Wersakker in Mierlo, a window was smashed and a computer was stolen. The stolen items were found in the immediate vicinity.

On the night the burglaries took place, three 16-year-old boys from Mierlo and Helmond were apprehended thanks to a police dog. Whilst investigating the case, the police were able to track down the fourth suspect.

All four suspects were released after questioning. Their fate now lies in the hands of the Openbaar Ministerie (Public Prosecutor).
