Seventh edition of ‘Hallo Cultuur’

Yesterday, the 7th edition of ‘Hallo Cultuur!’ took place in Eindhoven. It is the official start of the cultural season. About thirty organizations participated in the event.

This yearly event is organized in order to draw the public’s attention. ‘Especially in these times of crisis it is important people visit cultural events’, says Gijs van de Burgt of ‘Hallo Cultuur’. ‘It is also important that people keep discovering culture.’

Parktheater’s manager Marleen van Amerongen confirms Van de Burgt’s opinion. ‘People know Parktheater, but ‘going to the theatre’ is not something that is on the top of everyone’s list. Events such as this motivate people again. They simply need to be reminded.’

All around the city, various things could be seen and done. Popular locations were Parktheater, NatLab, Frits Philips Muziekgebouw and Van Abbe Museum.
