Rise for TUe in QS World University Rankings

The University of Technology Eindhoven (TU/e) is rated 147th in this year’s top 800 of the QS World University Rankings.

TU/e has scored highest out of all the Dutch universities on the ‘percentage of international faculty members’ indicator and has increased its ranking by ten places compared to last year.

The British QS ranking is considered one of the three leading, most influential university rankings guide The results are based on the international scientific reputation, the reputation as employer, the relationship between the numbers of students and lecturers/professors, the average number of citations per researcher, the percentage of international students and the percentage of international academic staff.

TU/e scores best out of all the Dutch universities with 39th place worldwide. This score gives an indication of the quality of the university by showing its attractiveness to international researchers. TU/e also scores highly in its ratio of students to lecturers/professors, taking 30th place worldwide.

Dutch universities are well represented in the QS rankings, with eleven of the thirteen universities in the top 200.
