First experts Ukraine to the Netherlands

This afternoon at 15:00 135 forensic experts and military personnel from the Netherlands, Australia and Malaysia, who had been active on the site of the plane crash in Ukraine, arrived at Air Base Eindhoven. The experts returned because their mission had been discontinued as a result of the unsafe situation there.

They were welcomed by Commander in Chief, General Tom Middendorp, Chief of the National Police, Gerard Bouman, and Steve Lancaster of the Australian police.

The flight started in Charkov. A Dutch C-130 Hercules and an Australian C-17 Globemaster transported the experts to Eindhoven.
