Great sadness and dismay at the Asian supermarket Amazing Sang Lee on the Kruisstraat in Eindhoven. Their beloved colleague Ninik Yuriari was killed in the plane crash in Ukraine yesterday.
Ninik was on her way to her native country Indonesia for a surprise visit to her more than 80-year-old mother for Eid ul-Fitr. Her two-year-old grandson had also wanted to go, but Ninik finally decided not to take him along.
She had been working at Sang Lee’s for fifteen years. According to owner Sue Tjon she was a wonderful colleague, who always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone.
A large photo of Ninik’s has been placed in the store and visitors can bring flowers, light candles or write in the condolence register there.
Sang Lee also posted an In Memoriam on their website , stating how much the news has affected them. They offer their sincere condolences to the bereaved and wish them lots of strength.
Next Sunday at 14:30 there will be a memorial service for Ninik at community centre de Boemerang, Planetenlaan, Eindhoven.
