There have been problems with streetlights in Woensel since a fire at a substation this past Sunday. This is according to an announcement made yesterday by the electrical company Endinet.
The fire damaged a part of the distribution or sub-station and since then, the streetlights have either not come on at all or stay on longer than necessary.
Endinet has therefore decided to manually control the streetlights for the time being. Residents of the Woensel area are asked to contact Endinet and indicate if their nearby streetlights are not working. Endinet hopes to have this corrected as soon as possible.
