The Technical University and the Design Academy Eindhoven will contribute to the coming edition of the Extrema Outdoor Festival. These are the first steps towards a whole new festival that Extrema will organize.
In 2015, Extrema will be organizing this new festival that will have the city of Eindhoven as a central theme. Local parties will be involved during the event. Besides music, the festival will also be a showcase for Eindhoven’s qualities in the field of technology and design.
For the coming festival, the TU/e developed an interactive laser dancefloor and an LED wall. These features can be seen in an area of the festival designed by graduates from the Design Academy.
The municipality will also contribute. The design houses, designed by Collaboration O for the Dutch Design Week 2013, will be made available for the festival.
During the Extrema Outdoor festival, you can enjoy performances by Jef Mills, Afrojack, Baauer and Netsky. It will be held at Aquabest on Saturday 12 July.
