Four European universities launch Technologist magazine

Fascinating articles, innovative new insights and an exciting design typify Technologist, the new magazine of four European universities of technology. The first issue of the popular-science magazine appears on 24 June.

Technologist bears the slogan ‘Innovation. Explained’. The magazine offers readers news, background and opinion on science and technology from a European perspective. Shale gas is the new gold rush, cooking with in vitro meat and the revolution of the wonder material graphene. These are just a few of the topics to whet your interest in the magazine.

Technologist reveals how the universities cluster their strengths to help develop technological innovations worldwide. Innovations that help solve societal challenges in areas like renewable energy, food, health, communication and mobility. TU/e makes various contributions to each issue.

Technologist appears four times a year in three languages: English, French and German. The first issue will be digital and will appear on the website www.technologist.eu on 24 June. This website will also encourage readers to engage in open discussion and debate.
