Final expo MU with designers’ collective La Bolleur

The last exhibition of MU in ‘De Witte Dame’ (The White Lady) will be opened tomorrow. After sixteen years, the organization leaves for Strijp S and will say goodbye to De Witte Dame with a relay exhibition.

For the past five months, five artists or artists’ collectives were given free rein each month. Afterwards they passed the baton to a successor. Designers’ Collective La Bolleur is the last one to take the baton.

La Bolleur is originally an Eindhoven collective; its members all studied at the Design Academy. Meanwhile they live in Amsterdam and have gained national recognition because of their bizarre productions and installations.

La Bolleur’s final exhibition at MU is called ‘Let there be light’, thus referring back to the original function of De Witte Dame as a former Philips factory.
