Cannabis nursery dismantled on Dagvlinderstraat

The police dismantled a cannabis nursery containing approximately 300 plants in a house on Dagvlinderstraat Monday evening. This was following a tip received by the police regarding the probability of a cannabis nursery at said address.

The house was empty at the moment the police entered. Two bedrooms and the attic were converted into a nursery. All equipment was confiscated by the police and the plants were destroyed.

According to an employee of the electricity company, electricity for this "project" was illegally drawn. Furthermore, it was done in an extremely fire-hazardous way.

The police are investigating who is responsible for the nursery.
