Over 10,000 speeding tickets Marconilaan withdrawn

Over 10,000 speeding tickets that were issued in the past two months at the Marconilaan, are being withdrawn by the police.

The maximum speed sign that says 50 km/h was too close to the speed camera, giving drivers not enough time to adjust their speed.

Therefore all tickets issued between 1 April en 9 May 2014 have been revoked. The involved drivers will receive a letter from the Centraal Justitieel Incassobureau later this week.
People who have already payed their fine, will get a refund.
