Exploring the city by bike – Urban Exploring Tours Eindhoven makes this possible. The first tour for invited guests took place today.
Led by a guide the first twenty participants cycled along ‘urban’ places in the city for two hours. From getting a history lesson on the roof of the Apparatenfabriek at Strijp-S to sipping Turkish tea on the Kruisstraat. The Van Abbemuseum was not left out either.
The tours are designed, amongst others, for the city’s residents, tourists, expatriates and new students.
The bike tour was conceived by Sjoerdtje Schaap, Olga van Straten and Hedi Egelmeers. Eindhoven is not going to be the only city with an urban bike tour. There are plans for city bike tours in Tilburg, Breda and Den Bosch as well.
