PvdA, D66, SP and GL start negotiations

Starting next week, PvdA, D66, SP and GroenLinks are going to negotiate about forming a new coalition in Eindhoven. This is the result of a number of talks that informateur Han Noten has had with all political parties of the City Council.

During the past weeks, Noten researched which parties would be able to form a ‘broad and stable’ coalition for the next four years. He thinks different coalitions are possible, but decided that the PvdA, SP, D66 and GL coalition would be the best.

If those four parties successfully conclude the negotiations, PvdA, D66 and GL will remain in the Board. The SP would become a new member and VVD would go back to the opposition.
