Philips lighting systems connect people, places and devices

Philips, the global leader in lighting, launched its new connected lighting systems for homes, businesses and cities. The new technologies were launched yesterday at Light + Building, in Frankfurt, Germany, the world’s largest trade show for lighting and building technologies.

Philips further launched a new light emitting office ceiling that supports the human body’s biorhythms and a clear 40W equivalent LED bulb.

"We are changing dramatically the way people experience and interact with light at home, at work and in their cities," said Eric Rondolat, CEO of Philips Lighting. "Through connected LED Lighting, we foresee a future where lighting innovations connect seamlessly with smart controls, networks, devices and apps to positively benefit and improve lives and drive new business value."

Philips further unveiled their latest innovative solutions for connected homes, offices and cities.
