DNA-hit in Utrecht leads to solving several cases in Eindhoven

Strong increase in burglaries in student homes

A DNA-hit has lead to the arrest of a suspect in Utrecht, who can be connected to several criminal cases in Eindhoven.

He is suspected of an armed robbery at a supermarket in 2002. Two perpetrators demanded money from the staff, while threatening them with a firearm.

Besides this robbery, police also suspect the man of a burglary and of breaking into two cars, all in 2013.
The man is being held for further investigation.
